About Design Shrine Group
DSG was founded by author/ex-Cosmo Fashion Editor/ex-bartender/ex-Actress, Ty Wenzel in 1998 when all she wanted was to meet her favorite band, Guided by Voices. After every avenue was exhausted, she decided to buy an html program and put up a music webzine, Privy Magazine. Within a month, she was out painting the town red with her first interview - the band she started the magazine just to meet! After a night of 'ToKillYas' (aka Tequila) Privy Magazine became known as the webzine that "wouldn't sell out."
After two years of making absolutely no money, but having a lot of fun (many more interviews, cd reviews and listening parties at record studios), Wenzel was flanked by friend's with companies asking her to design their websites. This was very gratifying but when it became a full-time job - she made it a full-time job and formed Design Shrine Group with Rodney Payne in programming, Henry Bales in hosting, and Larissa Farrell, who heads the turnkey division. Another two years of high-end web design went by when they began to sell their custom high-end scripts as turnkey "insta-sites." It was a big hit and they have minimized the high-end production in lieu of the PHP Factory which specializes in turnkey websites.
What sets DSG from the rest is the background that goes into the design. With Wenzel's art and fashion experience at the helm, the websites have an expensive custom look without breaking the bank. The programming team can take this vision and modify it to work for everyone from the the newbie to the experienced webmaster.
Whatever your vision there's a plan for you at Design Shrine Group. If you're a programmer who needs some products to build a platform out of, the memberships are perfect for you. If you're a realtor, consider buying just one of the realty sites and even let DSG customize it for you! Wherever you want your IT vision to go, Design Shrine Group worships your success.
